Meet the Team

Dr Paul Logan

Paul graduated from University with honours more years ago than he wishes to admit before spending 3 years in mixed animal practice in the Hunter Valley and North Queensland. The mandatory couple of years in the UK followed before the sun, sand and surf of Bondi lured him home. Paul has owned the practice for over 20 years and has cared for many of your pets (and seen your kids grow up!). Paul's veterinary interests include orthopaedic surgery and dermatology. Paul lives locally with his wife, 3 daughters, 2 cats (Ivy and Indi) and their dog Holly. Outside work Paul enjoys surfing and most water sports.

Dr David Butchart

As a kid David wanted to do two things when he grew up - play cricket for Australia and be a vet. Clearly the cricket dream didn't quite go to plan! After graduating 15 years ago David headed to England where he took up residence in the south of England in a mixed rural practice. After 4 years of loving the job but not loving the weather he headed home and began working in the eastern suburbs. After a couple of years of practice David headed back to university to do an MBA. Post MBA David worked for a multi national pharmaceutical company in their Animal Health marketing department. David came back to practice at Bondi Vets in 2005 and became a partner towards the end of 2009. David's vet interests include ophthalmology, radiology and general medicine. Outside work David's interests include golf, cricket and to be honest most sports (and did he mention golf?!).

Lisa Farrelly

Lisa has gained more then 12 years veterinary experience since completing her qualifications in 1998 and has been an integral part of our practice at Bondi Vets since 2003. Lisa is a sucker for a stray animal having saved 2 cats and an epileptic dog from a worse fate. Lisa runs our weight loss clinics for those pets who want to look good at the beach this summer and she has a special interest in anaesthetics and surgery.

Stephanie Powell

Steph joined Bondi Vets in 2008 as a trainee veterinary nurse. Steph is a happy, bubbly person who is more than happy to talk to your pet (we have yet to establish whether she can understand their replies!). Steph is about to finish her veterinary nursing qualifications and is studying hard to get them. Steph has a cockatiel and a budgie at home. Don't be surprised to see Steph skipping around the clinic!
